  • Jibs

    Portable Aluminum Alloy jibs are ideally suited for low-rise buildings in India especially considering our very low labor costs. Constructed out of special Aluminum Alloy. Light in weight but strong.. Provided with Pivoting Safety stops to avoid accidental sliding back. Jibs can be anchored at various points and levels around perimeter of the building. Easily transferred from one location to another by two window cleaners They can be re-erected in matter of seconds Pair of Portable jibs is capable of carrying weight of Cradle plus 180 kg., which is two persons weighing 70 kg each plus 40 kg additional loads.

    There are two type of Jibs:
    1) Roof Mounted Jib
    2) Parapet Mounted Jib
    Roof Mounted Jib:
    Easily erected by sliding them into portable tops fixed on the Roof. Front struts of the jibs are constructed out of all section to make jibs lightweight. Bottom part of the struts is lined with wood. Provided with Safety Harness Anchoring Point. Standard height is 1200 mm. But can be suited as per building required.
    Dimension from Anchorage of Cradle to Centre point of strut should not exceed 1400 mm for power winches. Dimension from Centre point of the strut to centre point of portable tops should be as far as possible be similar to dimension from Cradle Anchorage point to the centre line of strut. Oversized dimensions are possible. However the same will require careful study by our design office.
       
    Parapet Mounted Jib:
    Easily erected by pushing them in top and bottom hoop supports permanently fixed on the parapet walls. Provided with Safety Harness Anchoring Point..Dimension from Anchorage of Cradle to Centre point of strut should not exceed 1300 mm for manual winches or 1175 mm for power winches.
    Dimension from top hoop support hoop to bottom hoop support should be more than half the jib length. Since they are fixed to the parapet walls, the walls have to be structurally loading bearing. Being fixed to the walls and being removable, the terrace is absolutely free for any end use.ss
